PAULA URZICA

(B. 1989) Hungarian but born in Romania, Paula is a self-taught artist currently living and working out of the UK. Her fascination with painting began in her twenties when she discovered hyperrealism.

Dedicating years to learning the fine art of hype realism, Paula also began to incorporate her love of saturated color, evolving into her own style of highly pigmented hyperrealistic paintings. Paula finds inspiration in many different places such as nature, fruits, flowers, cakes, ice cream, chocolates and macarons, just to name a few. She combines her love of oil paints and pastels, which she avidly collects in every available shade, as a way to catalogue colors for future paintings.
